Pingpong is simply delicious. For years it was a tiny restaurant providing great food to Chicago's gay community at fair prices. After its expansion, it has started to attract more straight patrons as well, and the food remains consistently good.

Pingpong is simply delicious. For years it was a tiny restaurant providing great food to Chicago's gay community at fair prices. After its expansion, it has started to attract more straight patrons as well, and the food remains consistently good. Somewhat androgynous staff greet you at the door, and serve fantastic Pan-Asian food with just a sprinkle of attitude. In the summertime their sidewalk tables are packed, but if you're willing to eat inside, you can bring your own wine. This popular restaurant attracts a big crowd, and can be a fun place to see and be seen. Just be warned that however long the door host/hostess tells you the wait for your table will be, you need to multiply that number by three. Still, the great food and hip atmosphere are worth the wait.
