Pretenses are dropped for the usually uptight D.C. crowd. The downstairs includes tall black top tables, French shutters on the windows, exposed brick, cheap beer specials, and an extensive food menu including huge burgers and salads. There's a large patio upstairs looking over the street that can get crowded, so be prepared to wait in a long line on busy nights. A diverse crowd of races and ages converge here, but the scene tends towards younger and male.
