And it's not just because it's the only girl bar in town. While other contenders have come and gone, the Wild Rose has dug in its heels and stayed on this strategic Capitol Hill corner for more than two decades. The secret to its success could be the winning combination of pool, pinball, drag king shows, live bands, and reliable DJs. Or it could be the tempting drinks specials. Or perhaps it's the signed portrait of Joan Jett that oversees the line for the restrooms.
