The Prudential Skywalk Observatory offers visitors a 360-degree view of Boston and beyond, while an audio tour details points of historic and cultural interest. The observatory is located in the Prudential Center, in the heart of Boston's historic Back Bay. The Shops at Prudential Center offer up 75 stores and restaurants, including Ann Taylor, Barnes & Noble (Boston's largest bookstore), The Cheesecake Factory, Club Monaco, Lacoste, Sephora, and Talbots. With more than 60,000 visitors a day, it is ranked among the top five shopping centers in the nation by Women's Wear Daily. The center also serves as the launching point for the famed Boston Duck Tours and has Boston's only observatory, a fitness center, post office, and various other services. The Prudential Skywalk Observatory is open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the winter and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the summer.
