Along the 2.5-mile Freedom Trail are the government buildings, churches, and homes that represent 250 years of U.S. history and Boston's role in the American Revolution. At the Visitor Center, pick up a guide to Bunker Hill Monument, Old South Meeting House, Old North Church, and the the three-story former home of wartime messenger Paul Revere. Park rangers will supply you with brochures and maps and set you on your way.
