You're welcome to step inside the world's largest greenhouse to see the five biomes (self-sustaining communities of plants and animals)—tropical rainforest (the largest and highest section), desert, savanna, marsh, and a one-million-gallon ocean. The tour also takes in the computer center and some of the living quarters where a crew of eight Biospherians spent their two-year "voyage" in 1991-93. Today, scientists use Biosphere 2's controlled environments for experiments.
