With its dramatic General Pulaski monument and the elegant antebellum architecture all around you, this is a fine spot to linger and imagine life from an earlier time. Mercer House, on the square, was a main setting for Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. From here, you can easily continue through the tree-lined streets to other squares such as Madison, Reynolds, Lafayette, and Washington.
