If you've ever thought of the desert as a barren, dry place, The Living Desert Wildlife and Botanical Park will teach you a thing or two. Part museum and part conservation center, rolled up with a natural history museum, zoo, nature preserve, botanical garden, and educational institution in one, the Living Desert will teach you about the desert's ecosystem through active and interactive experiences.

Learn more about the varieties of cacti, palms, and other vegetation that live in deserts throughout the world; glimpse rare Mexican wolves, lions, and bird life in Eagle Canyon; crane your neck to see a family of super-sized mammals in the giraffe exhibit; learn about the Safari at Village WaTuTu; and watch animal procedures and treatments take place at the newly-built Wildlife Hospital & Garden.
