Deer Ridge Trail leads to Deer Park Campground, the highest campground in the Olympics. Water may be scarce. Boil all water before using. Pack and saddle stock are not recommended.

Directions: From Sequim, Take US Highway 101 west for approximately 2.5 miles. Take a left on the Taylor Cutoff Road to Lost Mountain Road and proceed to the intersection of Forest Service Road 2870. Take a left on 2870, then a right on 2875. Proceed on 2875 until you come to the parking area at Slab Camp. The trailhead is on the right.

Elevation: 2,540 feet

Ending Elevation: 5,230 feet

Elevation Gain: 2,690 feet

Distance: 5.2 miles

Difficulty: Strenuous
