Since the 24-hour Church of Elvis closed down, the Voodoo Doughnuts shop has stepped up to fill its place as Oregon's Top Quirky Wedding Location (there's a small chapel actually on the premises). The tiny, but insanely popular Old Town donut emporium recently had to stop selling Pepto Bismol-packed donuts, since the indigestion aid is considered medication and therefore not appropriate for pastry filling, but the shop still serves person-shaped Voodoo Donuts with stakes in their hearts and corresponding tasty dribbles of jam "blood." Call ahead if you want a gargantuan birthday donut, crammed with candles, or if you want a marriage license along with a dozen maple frosted delights.
