• The college's trails intersect with those of the adjacent University of Alaska Anchorage, which in turn merge with Anchorage's extensive multi-use trail system. In the summer these trails are great for biking and running, and in the winter they are ideal for cross-country skiing.
• Once the snow pushes the moose down out of the Chugach Mountains into the Anchorage bowl, you'll often see them on or near the trails. Give them a wide birth, particularly the cow moose after they drop their calves in spring.
