• The roadside pullout beside the Seward Highway at the southern end of the marsh is a great location to set up your tripod or spotting scope for some great birdwatching and wildlife photography—if you don't mind the steady flow of traffic at your back.
• From the boardwalk at the northern end of the marsh, look for large salmon in addition to the birds between June and September.
