The flagship of Atlanta's Metrotainment Cafes enterprise, Einstein's has been a gay-heavy Midtown restaurant institution since 1991. Spread over three 1920s bungalows and decked out with zebra-print booths and pearly mosaic accents, Einstein's serves hip, Southern-influenced comfort fare that eclectically melds with Mexican and Asian tinges. For its very popular weekend brunch (try for a patio seat, but don't hold your breath), the restaurant brings out its famous Bloody Mary bar, where you concoct your own from an array of fiery sauces, then add fixings such as stuffed olives and drunken carrots. And beyond all of the edible and drinkable goodness, Einstein's and its staff are also big supporters of the LGBT community and local charities.
