The High Museum of Art is one of the leading art museums in the Southeastern United States, boasting a collection of classic and contemporary art and acclaimed architecture by Richard Meier and Renzo Piano. Its houses works from such masters as Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Chuck Close, Martin Johnson Heade, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays; it is closed Mondays.
