Inside CNN (courtesy of Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau)

The Inside CNN Studio Tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the news network's global headquarters in downtown Atlanta. Visitors are given access to the state-of-the-art studios where events are reported daily to over one billion people worldwide. The tour begins at the bottom of the world's largest freestanding escalator. Once upstairs, visitors can browse through 25 years of CNN footage on interactive kiosks inside the studio's 50-foot globe. Inside a replica of an actual CNN control room, visitors see how footage is mixed and matched to create the news aired daily. The black-box theater in Studio 7E offers an up-close look at the technology used every day at CNN—and visitors can even sit in the anchor chair and deliver the news and weather. The CNN Overlook offers a bird's-eye view of the newsroom in action. In the final section of the tour, world-famous anchors such as Larry King describe their experiences working for the world-leading news company. Admission to the Inside CNN Studio Tour is $13 for adults, $12 for seniors, $11 for students, and $10 for children.
