The East Village Visitors Center offers walking tours, local brochures, maps and information about what is going on in the area, historic exhibits and displays, films, educational programs, special events, and direct access to East Village historians, from our East Village Visitors Center & Cafe, located at 308 Bowery, New York, NY 10012. The cafe offers free wi-fi, coffee, sandwiches, snacks, souvenirs, literature and more.

The East Village Visitors Center is run by the East Village History Project (EVHP) a non-profit organization under the fiscal sponsorship of Bowery Arts and Science, 501(c)(3). Its programs are organized and operated by community historians, educators, artists, activists and preservationists dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the history, culture and community of the East Village.
