Nora, I would recommend you check with the Qatari embassy before your departure. Qatar will issue two-week tourist visas for citizens of 33 countries, although Iraq is not one of those. There looks to be a program whereby U.S. green card holders can get a visa via a resident in Qatar, though not sure if this would apply to you.
