We raised 4 sons and ther favorite vacations were on the Oregon Coast! There favorite beaches were Cannon Beach with the tide pools at hay stack rock and Florence beach sand dune buggie rides. Take the 5 passenger dunebuggie ride! You have a driver and they are always entertaining and the ride is incredible! Seaside was the best beach because it is a gentle slooping beach and had a lot of sand dollars wash up on shore. Tillemook Oregon is a great place to visit the Tillemook Cheese factory and watch them make cheese and then get a big two scoop ice cream cone from their dining facility. Tillemook also has a great Air Museum if your boys love airplanes. Have a great time because no matter where you go there is something wonderful to do!

Make the most of the Oregon coast by seeing the Sea Lion Caves in Florence and the Lewis and Clark Bridge. Newport offers Marine Discovery Tours and if you choose to explore on your own, the Seal Rock State Recreation Park will give you plenty to do. Portland attractions include the Saturday Market, the World Forestry Center Discovery Museum, and the Museum of Science and Industry. Away from the coast is Crater Lake, east of Rosenburg, and the Newberry National Volcanic Monument in Bend.
