Where to stay if going to surf at Myrtle Beach
Travelling to Myrtle beach on a boys trip on 9/18 after the surfing restrictions are lifted. Where should I stay that is easy on hauling the boards (I get to carry 2) back and forth to the beach/hotel room for me and my 8 year old son?
Thanks in advance.

The best swell is generally considered to be around 29th Avenue, so look for places near there. Two choices, recommended by Surfline.com (http://www.surfline.com/surf-report/myrtle-beach-southeast_5279/travel/), are the Chesterfield Inn or Blake Inn, both a few blocks away. Another alternative near a good surfing spot a little further south might be the Holiday Inn Myrtle Beach Oceanfront.
