There's some modest whitewater in Arkansas' Ozarks, though the closest big rivers for you are over in Kentucky, including the Cumberland River and Russell Fork of the Big Sandy River (more info at http://gorptravel.away.com/gorptravel/rafting-guide/state-rivers.tcl?id=427562).
