You're not going to find any camping right on the beach, I'm afraid (all the state-run campgrounds lie inland in NJ's forested and mountain areas). You could try the Surf & Stream Campground in Toms River, which puts you close to the sand at Island Beach State Park, Lavallette, and Ortley Beach. http://bit.ly/cf2hA8
