Off season in the Caribbean occurs from mid to late April after the end of the spring break peak until around December, when the holiday season picks back up. These months also happen to be the hottest and most humid, as well as the wettest. In the Caribbean, however, the rain can fall pretty hard and fast, usually in the afternoons, meaning you can time your run to the beach without feeling like you're stuck inside for the whole vacation. Conversely, high season coincides with those months when Caribbean temps are typically at their most pleasant as well as driest. Off season also covers the months when hurricanes are most active in the region, from June through October. Definitely a good time to score some great savings, though be ready for fewer amenities, some overcast days, and the potential for weather-cancellations or delays.
