When is the best time to visit Niagara Falls?
I will be arriving at Buffalo NY in January’13 sometime and was wondering what the best tour to Niagara Falls is? Also, does it snow in January and is there any possibility that road will be closed due to heavy snow? Thanks a lot!

January at Niagara will likely be very, very cold, though am sure snow levels vary from year to year. There's very little chance that roads will be blocked as the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area is really quite urban. Bring a hat, scarf, and gloves. One upside of all that cold weather is you'll see fewer tourists, plus might get to enjoy the falls in a semi-frozen state!
