What time of year is the non-tourist season for visiting the Outer Banks, but when the temperature along the coast isn't too cold. This looks like a beautiful place to visit. Thanks.

I lived there for 4 years and favorite time of the year was off season. Typically "the season" would end after Labor Day. Temps are still nice. I personally love the beach in the mid/late fall, winter, and spring (before Memorial Day)quiet and peaceful. Enjoy your trip when you go!

In the beginning of the fall is when the tourism slows down and the temperature is still warm.
