What's the best language school in Buenos Aires? I have been here for 1 week and I am eager to get started. I have been recommended a few websites and one private tutor but I would prefer to work in a classroom? Can someone help?

I have just finished a 6 month stint in Argentina and I have to recommend a great school I went to in the first month. The school is on Calle Viamonte (right in the centre) and is called Expanish (http://www.expanish.com). Great school, lovely teacher and we had some really fun nights out... Highly recommended

Thanks for the question, KrisB. As it so happens, my father-in-law has been to BA on several occasions for Spanish immersion classes (not to mention, tango boot camp!). He recommends ECELA (http://www.ecela.com/loc_bsas.php), which is located in Recoleta, "a nice, safe area, and with 18 classrooms in a large house." He adds, "The classes are well structured; the teachers are good. Overall, I'd give it an A in comparison to other schools in Costa Rica and Chile." He also recommends taking some tango lessons from Elsa Maria, one of the city's famous tango dancers.
