No doubt, Los Algodones is all about medical tourism. That said, the town has capitalized on the influx of visitors from across the border with a decent array of cheap eats and regular fiestas. The town of Yuma, back over the border in Arizona, might be worth a look, with lots of desert scenery, 13 area golf courses (Golf Digest magazine rated Yuma as the seventh-best city in the United States for golf), tennis, and fishing.
