Not sure where the last poster was talking about, but the beaches he/she named are nowhere near Provincetown ("P-town").
To answer your question ... for boogie boarding, try any of the ocean beaches on the Cape Cod National Seashore. Head of the Meadow in Truro (the town next door to P-town) is beautiful! If you want to drive a little farther (1/2 hour approx., Nauset Beach in Orleans is a hotspot for boarding.

I would check out Easton Beach. It is a popular beach with other such attractions as a skate park and a vintage carousel. The white sandy beaches are perfect for boogie boarding.
Some other beaches in the vicinity include: Narragansett Beach, Scarborough Beach, Newport Beach, Matunuck Beach and Second Beach.
Have a great time riding the surf!
