CruiseCritic.com reports that Fort Lauderdale welcomes over three million visitors each year, and Broward County certainly has the restaurants to cater to the crowds! Head up to Las Olas Boulevard for upscale shopping and dining, including at Fort Lauderdale's popular Johnny V ("Floribbean" fare) or the surf-and-turf at Mangos. Lots more going on up here if you have a half-day or so to enjoy the Fort Lauderdale scene. Las Olas is about three miles from the terminal, or approximately $16 in a cab. A little closer, 15th St. Fisheries is on the Intracoastal Waterway and serves seafood fare in a nice oceanside setting. The Port Everglades website includes lots more info about where to eat and things to do during your time in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area: http://www.porteverglades.net
