We will be traveling to Baltimore to visit relatives then we are looking for ideas of where else to go northward to continue our family vacation. Our family includes an 8 yr old girl, 42 yr wman, and two elderly granparents aged 75. The grandparents have trouble walking for long distances and have several health problems. The grandfather loves history and the grandmother loves flea markets. Any ideas?

If you want to stay closer, you can check out the Princeton/Lambertville/Buck's County PA area. It's pretty rural, so think horse farms, markets, country fairs, small restaurants, etc. New Hope PA and Lambertville PA is near where Washington crossed the Delaware. They have a lot of bed and breakfasts. Very small places, though.

There is so much to do! Maybe you can consider going to Boston, where there are plenty of historic sites to visit as well as shopping and dining.
