We will be coming to the Grand Canyon on May 2 of this year. We will be spending 3-4 days at the Grand Canyon. Then we will be going back to phoenix to spend a couple of days. Does anyone have suggestions on what we could go see. We both have never been to Arizona before-so what is good for first timers?

Lucky you! Looks like you've got the Grand Canyon covered. From there, you'll probably want to head south past Flagstaff for a night or two in Sedona, Arizona. Next, continue toward Phoenix, which is a sprawling metro area with a diverse mix of entertainment, culture, sports, and outdoor recreation. Not sure what you like, but you've got loads of golf (obviously), world-class resorts (try the Arizona Biltmore or Enchantment Resort), and great outdoor recreation including hiking and biking in places like South Mountain Park, Camelback Mountain, and McDowell Mountain Regional Park in Scottsdale. Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix are good for a stroll, plus you should check out the Hohokam ruins and artifacts at Pueblo Grande Museum for a look into the area's ancient Native American heritage.
