We have never traveled to Montana, but wanted to know, if we were to spend just one week, of course wanting to enjoy resting times during the day, but want to see all of the beautiful views and areas, where would the best place to go and stay and how to spend our time there. What would you recommend us to do. Love the idea of the history and the ghost towns, but also like the wildlife. Any suggestions.

Amy, Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park is considered one of the world's most scenic stretches of roadway. And while you're there, don't forget to enjoy St. Mary Lake, Lake McDonald, and Swiftcurrent Lake, all of which offer gorgeous views and a range of hiking trails. You'll find lots of ghost towns in the country south of Glacier. Visit Montana lists some at: http://www.visitmt.com/tripplanner/wheretogo/ghosttown.htm.
