We are traveling with our 1 and 3 year old sons to Chicago for a day trip for the 1st time. What suggestions might you have on places to go and things to do with small boys?

I suspect your young 'uns will find fun wherever they are, but Chicago does offer plenty good options. For starters, the kids might enjoy the zoo (free) and Shedd Aquarium. Also, go for a stroll around Millennium Park, which has plenty space for the kids to run. Lastly, Navy Pier offers loads of fun attractions for younger kids.
