Honestly there isn't too much down there besides camping. There are some cabins that we used to go to in Tecumseh Village I think was the name. Its as soon as you get off the exit to the left. It was a nice cabin. Its been years though since we've done it that way. The cabin we stayed at was "hidden cave." Not much to do right outside the cabin but the children have plenty. There was a pool table and darts upstairs. I want to say each bedroom had a jacuzzi\hot tub? Not sure. I'm sure you can find it on the internet. Its in KY though and not VA. When you are down there definately take them through red river gorge. Get a map if needed but there are all sorts of natural bridges. Sky bridge is fun and they would love nada tunnel. The overlooks are amazing! Sorry if I wasn't much help. Have a good time!
