The weather and water will be lovely . One note-try not to shop when the cruise ships are in as they double/triple their prices for these tourists. We normally go twice a year and dive, but if you do not dive, snorkeling will be amazing for you. We use Dive with Martin and they never have more that 6-8 divers per boat. They also take snorkelers out. Their prices are much more reasonable than the resort charges. Also, since we can't dive for 24 hours prior to flying, we rent mopeds and drive around the island. From the town, take the road that crosses the island to see the ruins at San G. after seeing the ruins, continue toward the east side of the island. The first left after leaving the ruins you can visit the Tequila History Museum. Very interesting and they give you many samples of the variety of tequilas made as well as learning how it is made. On the east side of the islaisland,

sorry-ran out of space before, but when you get to the east side of the island, have llunch at Coconuts (a few miles after turning onto the perimeter road) They have delicious food and a beautiful view. As you go further south on the east coast, you will see wonderful beaches but the undertow is dangerous. There is a fun reggea bar near the tip of the island that frequently has live music. You can also see the lighthouse at the tip of the island. Follow the road back to town. There is a smaller ruin on the way back to town if you are interested. You can also arrange to take the ferry to Cancun and visit Tulum. That is an amazing ruin. Hope you have fun!

Great time of year to visit Cozumel, with mild, sunny days with little chance of rain! As to what to do, it's Cozumel, so go with the flow: hit the beach, go snorkeling, browse the markets, and just enjoy being on Mexican time!
