We are planning a trip in the first part of Oct. to visit the park with our 27 foot fifth wheel. Can we camp in the park, do we need resavations, etc? Thank you for your information. Floyd Bauer

You can definately camp there, and although making reservations is not required, they strongly encourage you to. Unless you make a reservation, camping is on a first-come first-served basis. Below is a link to a website that will provide you with a ton of information on each of the ten campgrounds in the park, phone numbers to make reservations, when they are open and closed for the season, and much more. Happy camping!

Most of the campsites in Glacier National Park are first-come, first-serve. Fish Creek and St. Mary are two campsites you can reserve in advance. The following site will give you more information on camping in the park: http://bit.ly/9m2REC

You could not pick a prettier time of year to go! Have a wonderful trip.
