We are planning a family trip to Boston in May. I was wondering where I can get a Boston travel guide mailed to my home?

I found several sites offering travel brochures:

You can typically have destination brochures mailed to you through tourism bureaus such as the Boston CVB, but in this day and age I'm not sure this is your most effective source of information. If you have an iPhone, I'd highly recommend Sutro Media's Boston Essentials app by Beantown native Kim Grant (full disclosure: a friend and colleague of mine). For only $2.99 you get to take the wisdom of an experienced guidebook writer with you, including a section on family-friendly attractions, eats, etc. Here's a link to the app on iTunes: http://bit.ly/dJalno

Online, you can find some pretty useful guides for free download on sites including TripAdvisor.com and TripWolf.com. (Content is not as good as the above app.) Also, don't forget Away.com's guide to Boston Family Vacations, which includes recommendations for places to visit and stay, plus includes an easy-to-print family-travel overview at: http://bit.ly/i0TiQU
