traveling to rio in may with my wife. i understand their are problems with the flooding....
traveling to rio in may with my wife. i understand their are problems with the flooding. are the attractions open and what about the city and beaches. don't know if we should proceed or not. can't get an answer from hotel!

Sorry we didn't get to this earlier. Hope you managed to enjoy your Rio trip. My take is that flooding would have caused some snarls and inconveniences in the immediate aftermath, but nothing to stop you going.
