I am planning a Yellowstone trip Next year. Any advice from people who have been there on staying at a central location and driving to all the scenic spots or staying at a different location every night? I want to see all the major attractions!

We're interested in taking three boys ages five, seven, and eight and are interested in organized activities for them during the day. We are also interested in hikes and talks for adults with the boys. Also spa activities for the parents. We can be there for a week, 6 adults and 3 boys.

My friends and I are going to hike the Gallatin Skyline Trail in August and I was just wondering how do we get back to our car if we park it just off of 191. It looks like the trail just ends in the middle of nowhere.

Planning to drive to Yellowstone from Florida in August 2011. Think we will be entering thru East entrance. Only have 2-3 days for our stay. Need to head out at North entrance toward Washington. Any suggestions for what would be our best way to use those 2-3 days? Should we go towards Old Faithful or head up towards Tower Falls?

We are traveling from Durango, CO en route to Minneapolis, MN the end of June with our two year old chocolate lab. We want to visit Yellowstone Park. What can we do? Where can we hike? Stay? Camp? We do not want to leave the dog unattended in our vehicle. Advice?

My husband and I are travelling to Yellowstone and Grand Teton in early September. We plan on camping in a trailer. Where should we stay - can we plan on staying in a central location in the parks and doing day trips to both? Or should we plan on staying a few days in one and moving to the other? My husband is concerned with towing a trailer into either park because of mountain passes. Is that an issue?

I, along with two other friends, are going to Jackson,WY for a week this July 2010 and we want to see the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. Can we see the Top Ten sights in Yellowstone and still spend each night in Jackson? Or, should we plan to spend one or two nights inside Yellowstone? We will be driving and walking only. We will not be hiking.

Our family is going to Yellowstone in July 2010. I have 3 young childrenn ages 3,5,and 7. I wanted to know is there a place where we can do pony rides in the park or in a corraled area? My kids have only ridden ponies at the fair. I have seen most places allow kids ages 6 and up. I am also open for mule or alpaca rides for young kids if you know of a place. Thankyou.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Yellowstone the first week in September 2010. We have about five days. We must fly into Salt Lake City thought (SWA free tickets). Not sure to enter the parks south or West side and not sure where to stay. Is it suggested we stay in the park or just outside the park? Has anyone a preference and if so, where did you stay? We won't have camping gear and we aren't much into roughing it. We plan to rent a car. Help! any advice? Debbie
