taking 8-9 day cruise from Ft Lauderdale with hubby, daughter and hubby.
need nice, inexpensive hotel 2 rooms for 1 night
need to know if can leave my car at hotel length of cruise
need info on what to do for one or two day touring
where to eat.

We stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn. It was nice for what it was...clean beds, good lobby, open-air feel that was very Caribbean. Down A1A from there was Coconut's Bahama grill, great outdoors spot with OK food where you can watch boats come up the intercoastal waterway.
Not sure about parking at the hotel during your cruise.
