Planning a 4 day trip to New York City in the next couple of weeks with my 14 year old son and 3- 14-yr. old friends. Seeing NYC through the "filter" of 14 year old skateboarding boys' eyes ;0)...what would be the "must sees" "must do's"? What to avoid?

Some unique New York City experiences might include The Empire State Building, The World Trade Center Memorial, and Grand Central Station. Teenagers might particularly the Lower Eastside Tenement Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Guggenheim Museum. Cafe Wha will give them a chance to dine and listen to artists play music or deliver spoken word. Another musical route might be to take the Hush Tours, which trace the origins of hip hop in NYC. There is also the Millennium Skate Park in Manhattan if they still have energy to burn.
