My neice lived in Overland Park, Ks as a child and remembers visiting a museum that was a former Indian children's orphanage. Can you help with what it is called and its location? She remembers it being on Anitoch Rd. thanks for any help and or direction.

Perhaps she is remembering the Shawnee Indian Mission? See The Kansas State Historical Society (http://www.kshs.org/portal_shawnee_indian_mission) for more info. Here's the link to the map: http://www.kshs.org/locations/map/4
It's a bit east of Antioch, but this might be the one.

While there does not appear to be a museum on Antioch Road at the present time, one nearby location that has a rich history is the Shawnee Town Museum. The museum has frequent events and exhibits to enjoy throughout the year.
