My husband is a HUGE Chicago Bears fan and i have bought us tickets to the boxing day game this december. We will be arriving christmas eve and leaving later on in the week. Can you give any suggestions on what else we could do while we are there? Little shops, ice skating, museums anything really would be a great help. And of course anything related to the BEARS. Thanks

Wow, wrap up warmly for that game! Hope the Bears win for hubby, too! Chicago is very festive over the Christmas season, with holiday lights, markets, and lots of events. You might also want to take a tour of Soldier Field; tours take place Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on select dates. Other worthwhile tours include Architectural Walking Tours led by the Chicago Architecture Foundation. Don't miss, too, the Art Institute of Chicago. For a night out, book a table at The Second City, Chicago's famous improv club. Other good haunts include The Map Room and Goose Island Brewery (both good for beer), Buddy Guy's Legends (for blues), and Heaven on Seven (Cajun food with a view) and Reza's (hearty Persian). Oh, and did I mention the deep-dish? Try Gino's East in River North for some of the best pies the Windy City has to offer.
