My husband and I are planning a trip through the Blue Rige Parkway this fall. At times we will be camping. Do all the campsites have electricity? Also, rest rooms and shower facilities? Thank you.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of America's signature scenic drives, and so consequently is well set to accommodate visitors, including campers. The NPS operates nine developed campgrounds along the length of the Parkway, but amenities are fairly basic with nonelectric tent and RV sites and comfort stations and restrooms bu no shower hookups. There are plenty of RV and other campgrounds off the parkway, which offer more amenities and services. Check out this link for listings: http://bit.ly/gJfHRR
