My husband and I are looking for a beachfront hotel where we can relax and do nothing but enjoy the view. Where can we find a luxury hotel with no children. We prefer all-inclusive resorts, or private rental home with a pool.

Following up on my earlier answer. The Lodge on Little St. Simon's has inclusive rates that include three meals daily and activities!

Strangely enough, given their popularity, there are relatively few all-inclusive resorts in the U.S. This holds for Myrtle Beach, too, which is a booming family-vacation spot. I'd actually advise you to look a little further south to the barrier islands around the South Carolina/Georgia, where you'll find a little more peace and quiet than the built-up area from Charleston to Myrtle Beach to Wilmington. Somewhere like the Inn at Palmetto Bluff on Hilton Head or Jekyll Island (GA) might fit the bill better. Little St. Simon's is another tranquil spot.
