Depending on when you would be going, Maui has some great beaches and is much less crouded and easier to get around on. There is a fantastic bike ride you can do down the volcano, mostly coasting and the views are awesome. We took the sunrise tour, were there for sunrise and stopped for breakfast on the way before ending at the beach. Io valley has excellent hiking, Hana Road is best with a touring company. I found one that took us in a limo, and included all waterfall stops, and a winery tour on the way home.
