Looking 1950's, 60's era cottages for vacation Back in the 50's, 60's there were many quaint, small cottages usually with a bed, kitchenette, restroom, small little porch that were available for travellers to rent overnight or by the week. Usually tucked away among the trees. Does anyone know if there are any of these along the coastal area of Oregon?

Sounds like you might be thinking of lots of places up and down the Oregon coast. To hopefully narrow things down, Away.com's newly published article on "The Top 10 Beaches of the Pacific Northwest" (http://away.com/features/top-ten-beaches-pacific-northwest-1.html) includes a section on Neskowin Beach, Oregon. "Few beach communities remain as unspoiled as Neskowin Beach. Families built vacation homes here in the 1920s and '30s, and there has been amazingly little development since," writes Nancy Prichard Bouchard. This might be the place to find that idyllic cottage!
