Churchill, Manitoba, is considered one of the best places to see the Northern Lights, though you don't really have to do anything in particular to see the show -- the spectral glow will be visible right there in and around town, particular in February. Several groups, such as Natural Habitat Adventures or the Churchill Northern Studies Centre, offer slightly longer (5+ days) group tours, or you could check with local outfitters for shorter stargazing excursions.
