I'm trying to find a hotel where my husband can go fishing. Freshwater fishing would be great, or off a pier. Where is the best place for us to stay? He would like to get up in the morning and throw out his pole. Walking distance from our room please.

Not sure of your budget, but you should definitely check out the Inn at Palmetto Bluff (http://vacation.away.com/hotels/travel-ld-cid316758-hilton-head-island-hotelid741510-inn-at-palmetto-bluff-hotel.html), an angler's paradise with kayak fishing, freshwater fishing, and deep-sea fishing all on tap. Another uber-luxe choice is the Cloister at Sea Island (http://vacation.away.com/hotels/travel-ld-cid313218-jekyll-island-hotelid809037-the-cloister-at-sea-island-hotel.html). More broadly, check out the resorts and hotels on either Jekyll Island (http://vacation.away.com/georgia/travel-v2-cid313218-jekyll-island-cid400173-travel.html) or Hilton Head Island (http://vacation.away.com/south-carolina/travel-v2-cid316758-hilton-head-island-cid400173-travel.html) for access to some stellar ocean and inland fishing.
