I would like to know the distance in miles (and time if known) in traveling from...
I would like to know the distance in miles (and time if known) in traveling from Asheville, NC on the BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY to Boone, NC. I know the shortest way is not on the parkway but I want to take the scenic drive. Thanks!

It's a little under 100 miles, with Asheville at milepost 380 and Boone just off milepost 290. Plan on spending at least three to four hours driving this scenic stretch, with its fair share of twists, turns, scenic overlooks (not to mention, places to hike), and traffic snarls!
