Hello, just want to set some info correctly, Magen's Bay is on St Thomas, CaribbeanMaven meant that Trunk Bay is on St Johns, and it is still one of the best snorkeling beachesin the world, visited it and couldnt get enough so we went back five months later, hard to find all inclusive in the Virgin Islands, but lots of fine places to pick and choose from, awesome part of the U S and never a bad time to visit

Hi Candace: Arguably the best beach in the U.S. Virgin Islands is Magens Bay on St. John, which also happens to feature a underwater snorkeling that's part of Virgin Islands National Park. However, to best of my knowledge, there are no all-inclusives on St. John. There are a couple of nice resorts on adjacent St. Thomas, including Bolongo Bay Beach Resort and the Sugar Bay Resort and Spa (which offers catamaran snorkeling trips, among other activities). Across the bay, there's also "snuba" tours at Coral World Marine Park and Observatory. In a similar vicinty, there are some fantastic beaches as well as snorkeling on the BVI's Virgin Gorda, including the sublime Baths. Resorts here skew a little pricier, but you won't go wrong with either Biras Creek or the Bitter End Yacht Club. Great, now I'm jealous of your pending Caribbean escape!
